Not Bad For A Girl is a scaled-down interpretation of Indie 184’s mural at The Ridge Hotel on the Lower East Side, originally painted in 2018. Featuring Rita Moreno, the work celebrates strength, individuality and the power of carving out your own place against expectations. The original mural took on added meaning when Rita Moreno visited the site herself, a moment later featured in the documentary Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It.
